Addictions Specialist
Professional Counsellor-Candidate and Associate Addictions Counsellor

Liam Cyr, RPC-C, AAC

I am a Registered Professional Counsellor-Candidate and Associate Addictions Counsellor working out of my home office via ZOOM.

I received my accreditation in Counselling Skills & Social Human Services specializing in crisis management, addiction, existentialism and grief. I am certified through ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) and an MFR (Medical First Responder) with crisis training as a volunteer firefighter.

Drawing on my coaching experience, education and lived experience, I work on the front lines to support and assist people healing from addiction to persevere through the grief, sadness, regret, and anger that is often experienced during the healing process.

I have been described by my clients as authentic, present, patient and empathic; they can always feel that I care and am walking their path with them. I lead with the theme of being a guest in the narrative. My philosophy is that Your story is unique to you and worth being heard.
